Our Story

Nestled in the Lancashire countryside, Laneside Soap Company is a growing family business that was founded in 2010.  Our journey as a business began with our handmade bars of soap, but since then, our product range has only become bigger.  We take immense pride in our handmade products made from our own family recipes, and with the highest quality ingredients.  Plus, not only do they smell great, but they keep our skin happy and healthy too.

​At Laneside Soap Company, we are also proud to say that we make a conscious effort to make our products eco-friendly and recyclable, so you can treat yourself or a family member without the guilt of adding plastic waste.

Where It All Started…

 

Our journey with soap began when our family needed some gentle cleaning options for sensitive skin.  We needed soap that was both gentle and mild on the skin.  This simple idea led to the creation of our first batch of soap.  The problem is, you can only use so much soap yourself and needed an excuse to make more.  This is where the idea for Laneside Soap Company began.

​We still put the same love and care into every product we pruduce as we did when we first started.  We are always experimenting and innovating in the hope of producing fresh pruduct for every customer to enjoy.

​We have used this soap for over a decade with our own family, and hope that you do too.
